Coriander Health Benefits
Coriander is recommended by alternative practitioners especially for digestive problems, gastrointestinal inflammation or coughs. Its ingredients can also be helpful for menstrual cramps and support milk production in breastfeeding mothers. Similar to the well-known fennel anise caraway tea, coriander also works wonderfully for flatulence or an unpleasant feeling of fullness. Many people also simply mix coriander into this tea combination, as all four ingredients complement each other wonderfully.
Incidentally, both the leaves and the seeds of the plant can be used for coriander tea. Both ingredients have a similar effect on the body.
Newborns who are struggling with flatulence can be given one or two teaspoons of the freshly brewed tea in milk or with plenty of lukewarm water. This can provide relief from the symptoms.
Make Your Own Coriander Honey
If you fancy a delicious taste sensation, we recommend coriander honey. You can either buy it ready-made or make it yourself. Simply get some coriander seeds and fresh honey. Crush a few teaspoons of coriander seeds with a mortar or a blender and mix the result with the honey. Coriander honey not only tastes great, but also helps to stop and relieve coughing. Cheers.
