Loose Leaf Tea with Sunflower

From June to the end of September they are everywhere: sunflowers! They are the epitome of beauty and live up to their namesake thanks to their bright yellow flowers and a diameter of up to 60 cm. What's more, sunflowers can grow between three and five metres high and are known to always turn their heads towards the sun. If you get so much warming energy, you can't be unhealthy - and that's true. Sunflower oil and sunflower seeds are not only frequently used in the kitchen for tasty dishes, but also contain a lot of important ingredients that have a positive effect on the human body. For example, a freshly brewed tea made from sunflower blossoms or from the crushed seeds can help with colds. The oil is also found in many wound healing ointments and creams.
